Construction of an IKEA store integrated into a mixed program in the heart of the Saint-Isidore eco-neighborhood.
Overview
The site
Located to the west of Nice, in the heart of the eco-valley, the Saint-Isodore sector extends on the right of the Allianz Riviera and the 8 adjoining hectares.
The IKEA store will benefit from its proximity to the heart of the city and from an excellent connection from the A8 motorway, the RN 6202/6202 bis, and the avenue Pierre de Coubertin, with the adjoining tramway under development.
Project description
The IKEA store consists of a main body in the shape of a truncated rectangular parallelepiped, associated with two elongated volumes on the east and west sides, against which are leaned the shops and housing studs.
The north and south facades use the color codes of the IKEA brand and contemporary materials (glass and aluminum), while the side facades are mainly closed.
The green roofs are treated as a fifth facade and will house a 6,300 m² photovoltaic installation of green color.
