Overview
By 2024, the city of Aulnay will host a station on line 16 of the Grand Paris Express. This line is part of the will of the public authorities to revitalize the northeast suburbs of Paris by offering a more efficient and more suitable mobility offer. This impetus for a new lease of life also comes through an offer of innovative housing and the creation of a new city center.
The Aulnay station site is located in the north of paris, at the crossroads of residential neighborhoods in the east and designated activity areas in the west. It is part of an urban landscape marked by large road infrastructure and two parks.
With the arrival of Aulnay-sous-Bois station, a new synergy will be created,a place where all the flows from the metro, bus station and public parking will merge and participate in promoting the restruction of the urban fabric.
Thus, more than a development operation of the new Aulnay station, the project is part of a vast urban redevelopment aimed at absorbing the urban cuts generated by the inadequate and neglected infrastructure of the territory.
The project under development by the Eiffage Immobilier / Verrechia / Wilmotte & Associés group will support and enhance the legibility of this new equipment thanks to a light, airy and natural architecture, which, in connection with the main forecourt, will initiate a new continuity with existing collective housing districts. Also, local shops complementary to those of the station will come to animate the forecourt as well as places of events and rest, all fitting harmoniously with the logic of landscape continuity, and this up to the heart of the block.
