Fin du suspense ! Un an après le lancement du plus grand concours d’architecture et d’urbanisme d’Europe, les lauréats des 51 sites de l’appel à projets « Inventons la Métropole du Grand Paris » ont été dévoilés mercredi 18 octobre au Pavillon Baltard de Nogent-sur-Marne. À Saint-Ouen, c'est l'équipe composée de Novaxia, Engie, Wilmotte & Associés et Manifesto qui a été choisie pour repenser le site du marché aux puces de Saint-Ouen. Le projet, ST O ART DESIGN CENTER, un programme de 18 000 m² autour de l’art et du design.

Inauguré le 17 octobre par le Président de la Métropole Européenne de Lille, Damien Castelain, le premier parc commercial transfrontalier entre la France et la Belgique situé sur la ZAC du Petit-Menin, à cheval sur les communes de Neuville-en-Ferrain, Roncq et Tourcoing, a ouvert ses portes au public le mercredi 18 octobre. À la fois urbain, architectural et humain, Promenade de Flandre incarne une nouvelle génération de parcs commerciaux, largement végétalisés et en synergie avec leur environnement", avec notamment plus de 10.000 m2 de jardins thématiques.
Le projet fera l’objet d’une double certification environnementale : NF Bâtiment Tertiaire - Démarche HQE® et BREEAM.

The famous gallerist specializing in contemporary art, Daniel Templon, entrusted W&A with the design of its new Parisian gallery located near the Centre Pompidou. This large area of 700 sqm will be developped on three levels with a central canopy. It is made of a 12 meters high facade on street and rooms up to 4 meters in height. The project will be completed at the end of April 2018.

Wilmotte & Associés - W&A will sign the future research center of the Laboratoires Servier on the plateau of Saclay

Facing the future École normale supérieure of Paris-Saclay, the new research center of the Laboratoires Servier will be inaugurated in 2021. It will gather the teams which are currently split on three sites, and will include a cylindrical shape core to which three buildings will connect. They will host laboratories, a convivial space with a company restaurant and a cafeteria, as well as a business hotel for startups. The other important point of the project will concern the green spaces. They will be everywhere in order to improve the well-being of the users and offer them an eco-friendly building.
According to Emmanuel Canet, R&D executive Vice President of Servier Group, this project aims to "promote exchanges, including informal ones, between researchers, asserting itself as a source of creativity and innovation and to be fully integrated in the Paris-Saclay ecosystem".

The "Art&Fact 2.0" complex has been inaugurated on 2 October 2017, in the of Carlos Tavares, President of the PSA Group Board, Patrick Ollier, Deputy Mayor of Rueil-Malmaison, Thierry Laroue-Pont, President of the BNP Paribas Real Estate Management Board, François Bertière, President of Bouygues Real Estate, and Françoise Debrus, Investments Director of Crédit Agricole Insurances.

Designed by Wilmotte & Associés, this effective and evolutive building complex, on 16,400 sqm and 7 levels, hosts the Management and the General Secretariat of PSA, the Communication, HR and Finance Services, and the Brand Management of Peugeot, Citroën and DS, which corresponds to 700 people.

Equiped with solar panels and water collecting systems, "Art&Fact 2.0" meets the highest environnemental requirements, being certified HQE « Exceptionnal » (High Quality Environnemental) and RT2012 -30% (30% more efficient than the 2012 Thermal Regulation).

The construction of the Crédit Agricole des Savoie's new headquarters in Chambéry started on 22 September. This 3-levels building of 9,400 sqm, with a transparent facade, will offer to the 400 employees modern workspaces adapted to the new ways of working. The spaces are surrounding a landscaped central garden. The delivery of the project is expected for the end of 2018. And it aims to get an HQE environmental label, with the level "Excellent".

The Pyramides Award, organized in two stages (at regional and then national level) by the Federation of property developers, aims to highlight the finest examples of achievements throughout France.

After being awarded a Pyramide d'argent Ile-de-France in April 2017, the residential program "Quai de la Borde" in Ris Orangis (91) - the Europe's biggest building made in solid wood - also received in July a Pyramide d'or in the category "First achievements".

A true prowess for a project that already multiplies the rewards.

La Station F has been unveiled on 29 June 2017 by the Président of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, the Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, the Director of Station F, Roxanne Varza, in the presence of Xavier Niel, founder of French telecommunications company Free, and Jean-Michel Wilmotte.

Designed by Wilmotte & Associés and the design studio Wilmotte & Industries on the basis of the building built in 1927 by the French engineer Eugène Freyssinet, Station F is the result of 3 years of work wich aimed to open up the building et to allow it to welcome thousand of startups! A project urban, architectural and human, developed around a central axis of the size of the Eiffel tower. Monumental !

It is a unique place that thounsands of entrepreneurs from all over the world will discover. A place marked by History but designed for the future.

The residential program « Green Domaine », designed by Wilmotte et Associés, Derbesse Delplanque et Samak, has been unveiled on 28 June 2017 by the Managing director of BNP Paribas Residential and the Mayor of Cannes.

On a 41,430 sqm site, this program consists of 440 housings : 247 housing for ownership, 93 units for block sale and 100 social housing for rental, including 20 in stripping.

Composed with 4 buildings of 6 floors, the program also provides a private day nursery, an exterior swimming pool, as well as 311 underground parking spaces and 155 exterior parking spaces.

Wilmotte & Associés - Wilmotte & Associés to reinvent the Cap d’Agde with Kaufman & Broad

On Friday 23 june 2017, Jean-Michel Wilmotte unveiled an ambitious program named ICONIC for the transformation of the entrance of the Cap d’Agde, in partnership with Kaufman & Broad and Helyxir.

Developed on a 10 ha site, which also includes a congress center and a casino, this 25,000 sqm project articulates around two two-buildings parts, including housing, retail and services, along with a touristic residency in one of the buildings.

The first part is expected to be completed at the first semester of 2020.

The new winery of the Domaine de la Cavale of Paul Dubrule, co-founder of Accorhotels Group et founder of the Superior Council of Oenotourism, has been unveiled on 8 June 2017.

Designed by Wilmotte & Associés, this project showcases and optimizes the winemaking process of the Domaine through a unique building in the Luberon region, attractive and efficient, between mineral and vegetal, provided with new openings on the surrounding vineyard.

The new hotel OKKO, located in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, opened on June 7th 2017.

Located in a urban area in transformation, (new Ministry of Defense, etc.), on the site of the former Pullman hotel and at the forefront of a property unit which includes the 35,000 sqm of new SMA's headquarter, this new architectural signal express through its verticality the continuity of the urban front of the east side of the site.

Through the specific treatment of its façades, the OKKO hotel shows a monolithic and sculptural character, strenghtened by the glass printed panels which reminds the kinetic art by creating a visual play.

The new 4* OKKO hotel proposes 149 rooms on 8 floors and 4,770 sqm.

" Venezia, la scomparsa ", the book !

Wilmotte & Associés - " Venezia, la scomparsa ", the book !

Within the framework of the exhibition-event " Venezia, la scomparsa ", showcased until the 26th November  2017 at the venitian Gallery of the Wilmotte Foundation, the Xavier Barral publishing have gathered in an eponymous book the whole creations of Frédéric Delangle.

The photographer, who is well known for his work on light and the effects of long exposure, presents here about sixty pictures, from the darkest to the palest, which only becomes evident to those looking carefully into the image, slowly revealing all the details.

Jean-Michel Wilmotte says that “they put in picture these unreal and timeless atmospheres that [he] loves so much in Venice. They emphasize its uniqueness: the force to be still here as it was many centuries ago but also its fragility, since it said it will disappear…”

Between reality and illusion...

Wilmotte & Associés - The Wilmotte Foundation exhibits in Venice the work of the photographer Frédéric Delangle "Venezia, la scomparsa"

The Wilmotte Foundation presents between 11th May until 26th November 2017, during the Biennale of Contemporary Art, a vision of Venice by the photographer Frederic Delangle.

 

The exhibition «Venezia, la scomparsa» presents 36 original prints, mixed in three different formats (150x100 cm, 120x80 cm, 60x40cm), in a scenography signed by Wilmotte & Associés studio.

 

Frédéric Delangle is a French photographer born in 1965. He lives and works in Rueil-Malmaison, in the suburbs of Paris. He graduated in photography at the University of Paris-8 Vincennes-Saint-Denis and is passionate about urban planning and landscape design. Since the mid-90s, he has been developing his personal interest about the city and the relation of light and color in the urban context.

From Sunday 9 April to Sunday 3 December 2017, Palazzo Grassi – Punta della Dogana – Pinault Collection presents ‘Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable’ from the British artist Damien Hirst. Damien Hirst’s most ambitious and complex project to date, ‘Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable’ has been almost ten years in the making. Exceptional in scale and scope, the exhibition tells the story of the ancient wreck of a vast ship, the ‘Unbelievable’, and presents what was discovered of its precious cargo: the impressive collection of Aulus Calidius Amotan – a freed slave better known as Cif Amotan II – which was
destined for a temple dedicated to the sun. The scenography of this unique exhitition is designed by Wilmotte & Associés studio.

Within this large-scale renovation site, Wilmotte & Associés has developed for the ground and the first floor a concept based on material contrasts or lighting effects, bringing brightness, coherence et visibility to all the spaces.
